  • We provide 3 unique evaluation options for Autism or ADHD for adolescents and adults. We don't provide comprehensive assessments to explore every possible DSM-V diagnosis that someone may qualify for. We do not specialize in bipolar disorders, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, personality disorders, or learning disorders.

The Non-Diagnostic Screening Consultation provides clients with a single appointment to explore their thoughts about potentially being on the autism or ADHD spectrum. This self-discovery consultation can help you decide if a comprehensive evaluation makes sense based on your needs.

The Autism/ADHD Evaluation for Therapy Recommendations with Verbal Feedback is available for those who are looking to answer if they are on the autism or ADHD spectrum, but are not looking to pursue academic or vocational accommodations. These individuals are usually seeking confirmation of their experiences and what type of therapist they might want to work with.

The Comprehensive ADHD/Autism Evaluation helps a client determine if they meet criteria for Autism/ADHD and provides a detailed written report of the assessment process, diagnoses, and recommendations.

  • We provide assessments and letters for individuals who are seeking gender affirming surgery. This service is available to both current therapy clients and to those who desire a letter only and do not wish to be ongoing therapy clients. This process typically requires 1 session. Depending on the complexity of a client's mental/medical history, additional sessions may be necessary and this will be discussed with the client beforehand.

  • What is the cost for an evaluation?

The evaluation process costs $250/hr. Typically, the total cost for a comprehensive evaluation ranges between $2500-$3500. This number is an estimate and total cost may vary depending on a variety of factors. If you’re looking to obtain a formal assessment report with a diagnosis and treatment recommendations, the cost will factor in the clinician’s writing time.

How many sessions will an assessment take?

An Autism or ADHD assessment will typically require at least 3 appointments. A combined Autism/ADHD assessment will be at least 4 appointments. A non-diagnostic screening/self-discovery consultation will be one 50 min session.

Do you accept insurance for Autism/ADHD assessments?

This is a self-pay practice; we do not accept or bill insurance. Credit cards are accepted. Although we do not work with insurance companies, we would be happy to provide you with a Superbill that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Check with your insurance provider first for pre-approval so you can be sure of what they will cover for out of network services. We cannot guarantee reimbursement; that is between you and your insurance company.
